# Select the media you need

> Choose Amazon product and variant images, product videos, related videos and creator videos while preserving warnings and bounded job polling.

AmzDownloader lets you select media categories for one Amazon product. Pass a canonical product URL to `POST /scrapes` and use `include` to choose the groups you need.

```json theme={null}
{
  "url": "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRY1MG68",
  "renderMode": "auto",
  "refresh": false,
  "include": {
    "productImages": true,
    "variantImages": true,
    "productVideos": true,
    "relatedVideos": true,
    "creatorVideos": true
  }
}
```

Use the [quickstart](/docs/quickstart.md) to send this body with authentication. The API responds with HTTP `200` and completed media when a suitable cached result exists, or HTTP `202` and an owned job to poll.

## Choose categories

| Include field | Result |
| - | - |
| `productImages` | Main product image collection |
| `variantImages` | Images grouped by product variant |
| `productVideos` | Videos associated with the product's media gallery |
| `relatedVideos` | Related videos, which can concern other products |
| `creatorVideos` | Creator videos surfaced on the product page |

The result can also classify customer review videos separately. Preserve the categories returned by the API instead of assuming every video depicts the selected product.

## Choose rendering

`renderMode` accepts `auto`, `static` or `interactive`. Use `auto` for normal extraction. Static extraction can omit dynamically loaded media. Interactive rendering still depends on what Amazon exposes for the product and marketplace.

Preserve `data.source.fetchedAt`, marketplace, ASIN and `data.warnings`. No rendering mode guarantees every media asset or every variant. A new extraction is asynchronous when it cannot be served immediately. Stop polling on a terminal status and set a local deadline.

## Reuse a result

Use `GET /products/{asin}/media` to read compatible cached media for a product. Specify the marketplace when working outside the default marketplace, and use the same selection and rendering requirements. See [cache and freshness](/docs/cache.md).
